I’m Back

Hi.  Thanks for stopping by.  I’m picking up my fitness journey with a back and neck injury, but I’m determined to get back on the “wagon.”  It’s time to quit making excuses about comfort food and how I’ll get started again tomorrow.  I need some help.  I need suggestions on good exercise alternatives with a gimpy back.  Thanks ahead a time.  I know what I need to do on the food side…quit shoveling crap in my mouth.  My body is revolting anyway.  It’s saying “Give us us low fat” (imagine Djimon Hounsou in Amistad).  LOL. I’ve definitely been indulging in more fried food and candy.  Well, I’m off to get myself together and work on this site.  Have a great day!

I Should’ve Just Said No

I’ve come to the end of a great weekend trip.  I realized I was hungry, so I stopped in the drive through at Mickey D’s.  This was a good and bad news.  The good was that a hail storm started while I was waiting, so I was off the highway.  The bad news is that I had a mini fried food bonanza.  I have been minimizing fried food, and I’ve felt like total crap ever since I ate that stuff.  I did good with the bread issue by getting wraps.  I didn’t eat all of it, but I knew better before I did it.  I’ve been half delirious and weak at times all night.  If it wasn’t for the Saints game and needing to make this post, I would be asleep.  This was just what I needed to stay on track.  The cost is too high to get off track.  Ugh.  I’m going to bed.
13 days down, 8 days until it becomes a habit.
